On February 28, the CPAC and Planning Board came to order to talk about Lexington Next, the Town’s Comprehensive Plan Update. In the cafeteria and classrooms at Diamond Middle School, we hosted breakout sessions on the topics of Housing, Transportation, and Economic Development, listening to town residents’ concerns, ideas, solutions, and priorities. The results of those breakouts will be published and integrated into the ongoing Lexington Next planning process. If you missed the meeting, we have plenty more opportunities to talk to you all as we continue! Our next event is March 7: “Who Will Lexington Be?” – a presentation on trends in Lexington’s population characteristics and school enrollment.
