Notes: This model estimates the tax rate impact of excluding the Police Station construction from the limits of Proposition 2 1/2, as proposed on the June 6, 2022 ballot.

The estimated annual and monthly impacts are for the first year of construction debt service which is expected to commence in fiscal year 2024. 

The estimated impact to the residential taxpayer is approximately $.19 per 1000 of value for FY2024.  The annual cost will decline approximately $5/year over 20 years.
